Audience
The theory colloquium is scheduled for Monday afternoon, starting at 16:15. It usually lasts one hour, including discussion. The audience includes students and faculty from theoretical physics with diverse interests:
- Astrophysics
- Early Universe Cosmology
- Particle Physics
- Condensed Matter Theory
- Mathematical Physics
- String Theory
- Computational Physics
It is therefore important to introduce the topic in detail, with clear explanations about the general goals associated with this field of research (approx. first 20 miutes). In particular, we attempt to attract students and keep the colloquium diverse. Therefore it is important to put together a presentation for a general audience.
